Ryan played another solid tournament to complete the 18th event of the regular season.  Ryan shot rounds of 67-67-68-68 to feel like he got run over to finish T31st.  The web.com tour feels like every week you better have something special or you will get lapped.

The greens were soft all week. Anytime long irons stick they are equivalent to a dart board on the greens which makes for low scores. The fairways were zoysia which basically gives you a perfect lie each time. So when professionals get perfect lies, light wind, large fairways, and soft greens, you should have 8 guys shoot (-20) or better. I personally think it gets old when it’s a putting contest each week.  I wish more weeks put a premium on hitting fairways and keeping the ball in play, but on this tour hit it far and basically anywhere and you can compete.  But, aside from that all you can do is bring what ya got and go out and make more birdies than the next guy.

The next two weeks will be the same type of shootout.  Last year the next two events had winning scores of (-21) and (-22) under.  So it will be no different than what feels like it has been all year.

The solid showing moved Ryan up one whole spot on the money list. The next three weeks have to be good otherwise we will have to earn the PGA Tour card in the Web.com Tour Finals Events.

Stats for the week to follow since they are lost currently.
